Cork's newest Talk Show mixes stimulating interviews , comedy and local musicians into a hilarious and thoughtful late-night cocktail. What does it mean to create in Ireland? Does the country do enough to support it's artists? Can you even make a full-time living as a creative? Host Daniel Lukas speaks with Award-Winning Irish Comic Book writer Kevin M. Smith on how to turn a bedroom passion in a respected career. Having swept the Irish Comic Awards while still in college, with his book "Marco the Demon Dude", Kevin has achieved more recognition then some of his older peers. We will chat about turning that initial success into a life-long career, the support he receives to continue his art and the hardships of breaking into the industry as a writer. Also joining us is independent Rap Artists Outsider YP. Having amassed very respectable numbers on streaming platforms, this self-made eccentric is a prime example of what an independent work ethic can achieve. Outsider YP will be performing a few of his songs live at the end of our show. The night will be guided by a Panel of Guests including Kevin M. Smith, Outsider YP, local podcast host and comedian Seheed0 and comedian and film producer Jo Heffernan. Tickets to this great evening are only 5€. What a steal. That's less than a Pint. Learn about Cork's vibrant cultural scene and enjoy a few drinks, starting on August 26th with Cork's newest Talk Shows: Cork.Undressed
